福遍中國教會主辦2008年的慈善体育活動近日展開各項活動，今天就可報名,請踴躍參加.
所募得款項將捐助成立己18年之東福遍地區慈善機構(East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry)。他們去年幫助23,008成人及14,960孩童食品補助, 並幫助貧民水電及醫藥費用, 開學前為460位學生買文具，在感恩節及聖誕前又以7,988份感恩食品禮物幫助貧民…
除了今年贊助之廠商，每個人的報名費及個人募款所得就能對他們有很大幫助。同時在我們在福遍教會，藉著運動、比賽、健行，增進彼此認識、更能促進各族裔之合睦互動。
活動項目：籃球, 排球, 綱球, 桌球, 羽球, 足球, 高爾夫球, 兒童騎車,拔河, 健行 等.多項活動八月廾四截止報名。 今年全教會野餐亦在9/27日中午在運動健行後即時舉行。
報名費用: 個人 -$25, 長輩(65 & up)-$15, 孩童(11 & up)-$15, 全家福- $70 只交一次報名費，以上所有運動活動均可參加。

Sports for Charity is an annual charity event hosted by the Fort Bend Cmmunity Church. We seek to partner with our community leaders and agencies in order to provide services to people undergoing hardships. This year's main event, Walk-a-Thon, will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2008, beginning at 8:00am at the Lost Creek Park in Sugar Land. There are several sport events like Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton and Golf etc. being held in August & September to enhance fellowship and spirit while raising funds for the needy people in the community. This year we are going to benefit the East Fort Bend Human Ministry which is a non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to address the basic needs of families in crisis in East Fort Bend County.
Registration fee: Individual -$25, Senior(65 & up )-$15, Children(11& up )-$15, Familiy- $70
We also have the Church picnic right after the Walk-a-Thon, starting at 10:30am till 1:30pm at the Lost Creek Park on the event day.
